Shayan is the founder and CEO of KurdistanTrips, offering unique tours across Kurdistan and Iraq’s historical sites. Born into a Kurdish refugee family in Iran, he’s driven to showcase his homeland’s rich heritage. An expert on Mesopotamia, Shayan connects deeply with visitors, sharing stories that make history come alive. Fluent in English, Kurdish, Arabic, and Farsi, he ensures a welcoming and enriching experience for all travelers.

With over 25 years of diverse experience, Waddah brings a wealth of knowledge in management, operations, and design to our team. Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and English, he combines his extensive background in leadership roles across multiple industries with strong communication skills to ensure seamless and insightful tour experiences. Passionate about sharing Iraq's rich culture and history, Waddah is committed to providing memorable and engaging tours that connect visitors with the heart of Iraq.
Araz J. Zangabadi
Araz Jalal Zangabady is a creative professional from Erbil, Iraq, who loves storytelling and visual art. He has skills in videography, painting, editing, and graphic arts, and is also great at motion graphics design.
Araz is currently the Media Director at Kurdistan Trips, where he helps create the company’s visual style and online presence. He makes engaging media content like promotional videos, ads, and graphic designs to attract and entertain audiences. Araz is passionate about showcasing the beauty of Kurdistan through his work.
